Emily is an associate with a background in marketing and copywriting for arts and tech brands. She is passionate about enhancing brand visibility through the intersection of storytelling and content creation across strategic channels.
Before joining Crosscut, Emily worked abroad in Germany for a strategic marketing agency in the mobile gaming industry. Through this role as Growth Marketing Manager, she had the opportunity to create and execute the company’s B2B marketing plan. Emily furthered her skills in digital marketing, copywriting, and content creation on social platforms like LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and X through this position and through her previous internships in the arts industry.
Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in German. At Chapel Hill, she worked on various student-led writing publications, ran her own fiber arts business, and volunteered as an ESL instructor, teaching and working with adults across all skills levels.
